The European Education Week’s objective is to allow students-teachers to have access to a training focused on international exchange with person coming from across Europe.
The creation of this summer school is a response to the lack of programmes of this type in Europe and to the accelerating pace of internationalisation in the field of teacher education.
As a leader of this European Education week, the University of Tübingen welcome for one week 25 international teacher candidates from the partner countries and 20 students from Tübingen. Those Summer School will be held in 2023 and 2024 in Tübingen, Germany.
This week-long program aim is to allow discussion and meeting about current and global challenges of teaching and schooling between students, lecturers and teachers.
The European Education Week is also addressing questions of sustainability from perspectives of ethical theory and perspectives of educational theory. In order to ensure the continuity of this programme, this summer school will give rise to publications including related to the students’ projects. The University of Tübingen also organises within the program webinars, with lecturers from all over Europe taking part in those conferences.
