This Work Package (WP2), led by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), aims to develop European teacher’ blended courses to support a European framework of teacher education

To this end, the teams working on this WP will produce 20 modules based on an innovative model of blended learning, to explore the potential for global collaboration and cooperation growth in blended learning. The modules will be developed by researchers from several partner universities who work together to produce the modules.

Blended courses

MUTTRAC – Multimodal teacher training for refugee-aware classrooms

The module aims at cultivating an understanding of inclusive education that employs multimodal recourses for teaching and evaluation. It offers participants selected multimedia recourses (texts, images, videos), techniques and strategies to be able to understand the dynamics of cultural difference in schools and effectively, and creatively, tackle the problems that arise.

I.S.E – Infographics in Science Education

Lately, infographics are used more and more to communicate science data and concepts to the public. However, it is still a challenge to incorporate infographics in science education as a teaching tool. This module focuses on how teachers and educators can design and then utilize infographics about science education and especially socio-scientific education such as sustainability.
