Becoming a European teacher means being able to distance ourselves from the education system in which we grew up. One good way of doing this is to take an interest in the education systems of other countries.
View courseThis Work Package (WP2), led by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), aims to develop European teacher’ blended courses to support a European framework of teacher education
To this end, the teams working on this WP will produce 20 modules based on an innovative model of blended learning, to explore the potential for global collaboration and cooperation growth in blended learning. The modules will be developed by researchers from several partner universities who work together to produce the modules.
Activities
- Co-conception of BL Modules, based on propositions from each partner;
- The modules will be shared on a digital platform hosted by Civis;
- Face-to-face versions of these courses will also be organized in several of the partners’ institutions;
- Using the modules and analyzing the data for real-time adjustment and satisfaction.
Blended courses
OIKOS
The Oïkos course, which lasts a total of 36 hours and includes individual reading, research, experimentation and evaluation, is intended for school staff who want to explore outdoor teaching methods and learn about scientific advances in the field. For an in-depth understanding of this course, we will begin with a brief overview of its history and international scope.

HAPPI training is a 36-hour module (including individual reading, research, experimentation and evaluation). Its aim is to help school staff interested in active teaching methods to experiment with new practices, and to raise awareness of scientific research on the subject.

Affectivity in Teaching
Within the AffecTeaching module Emotions, Belonging, and Social Connectedness will be used as benchmarks, for providing an up-to-date overview of innovative pedagogies and practices related to the promotion of students’ social and emotional learning (SEL) in various fields of education.
