From May 19 to 21, the UNI-T consortium gathered in Brussels for the project’s final meeting, as well as the seminar dedicated to sharing the outcomes of the action-research initiatives, hosted by the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB).
Over the course of three days, this event allowed partners to reconnect in person, more than a year and a half after their previous physical meeting, which took place in Rome in October 2023, hosted by La Sapienza University.
The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to reflect on the project’s activities, discuss the challenges faced, and celebrate the accomplishments achieved collectively.
Partners also worked together on preparing the project’s final report and explored the sustainability of UNI-T’s outcomes. The event was enriched by the contributions of external experts Elena Ungureanu (University of Bucharest), Emmanuel Ojo (University of the Witwatersrand), and Michael Schratz (University of Innsbruck), whose insights added depth to the discussions.
Beyond the working sessions, the Belgian hosts offered a thoughtful cultural programme, including a guided visit to the ULB Museum and the powerful theatre performance “Kevin“, which deeply resonated with participants.
These three days were marked by engaging dialogue, joyful reunions, and a collaborative spirit. The UNI-T consortium warmly thanks the ULB team for their outstanding hospitality, and in particular Hichem Damouche for his dedication and professionalism.
